Choosing between a 20, 30 and 40 cubic yard roll-off
Match the size to volume, not to the room count. A 20 yard handles an attic or garage clear-out, a 30 yard covers a two-room remodel or a full declutter, and a 40 yard is for a whole-home cleanout or a gut renovation.
No. WG Waste runs three roll-off sizes in metro Atlanta: 20, 30 and 40 cubic yards. The 20 yard is our smallest, and for most small jobs it costs about what a smaller container would.
An overfilled container cannot legally be hauled, so the driver may not be able to take it. When you are between two sizes, call us and describe the job before you book.
All three sizes are 22 feet long and 8 feet wide, so the footprint is the same whichever you pick. The driver also needs clear overhead room and a straight approach.
Roughly 4 loads for a 20 yard, 5 for a 30 yard, and 8 for a 40 yard. Counted in trash bags it is about 50-70, 80-100, and 110-130.
